Tradesmen's Software runs efficiently on MS Windows on PCs and Macs (with Intel processors) running Bootcamp/Windows.

Current Recommendations for a computer to run the latest version of Tradesmen's Software 3D Master Estimator with digitizer interface:

• CPU – Pentium 4 processor, 3.0 GHz or faster
• 1 GB of Ram or more
• 128 MB Video Card or better (Nvidia)
• OS – Windows XP Professional - Yes, we are also compatible with with Windows Vista 

Ideally you want a computer that is geared towards graphics (Open GL). The program will work on a slower machine. However, when it comes to digitizing multiple walls, openings and seeing the entire project; the faster the processor combined with more memory the computer has, the faster you see the result.  There are switches in the program to turn off what is shown in the graphic.
